1964 MGB FIA Race/RALLY Car with Papers – Heritage shell

This pull handle MGB is now ready for paint in the customer’s choice of colour, and can be ready to race in 6-8 weeks to our usual specification, with new FIA HTP papers

The shell is from an original narrow tunnel car, completely restored with a welded-in roll cage, high spec 1853cc race engine, new SCCR gearbox, plate type LSD etc.

The engine has recently been the subject of a rebuild which included all the usual internals plus newly machined block, new pistons and rods.

45DCOE Weber carburettor, Oselli manifold, competition distributor, big bore tubular manifold and skidded exhaust system, new oil cooler, hoses, radiator, catch tank.

Three syncro close ratio gearbox with competition uprated overdrive, a balanced propshaft, 4.3 ratio Crown Wheel & Pinion with a Quaife L.S.D.

Braided hoses, 600lb front springs, competition rear springs, uprated front and rear shock absorbers, 7/8” anti-roll bar.

5 1/2 J Minilite style wheels currently fitted with AVON ZZ tyres
