Equipe Classic Racing – Terms and Conditions of Sale
- Introduction
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the sale of membership access and entry to classic sports car racing events by Equipe Classic Racing (“ECR,” “we,” or “us”). By purchasing a membership and participating in our events, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
- Membership Access
2.1 Membership Eligibility:
To purchase a membership with Equipe Classic Racing, you must be at least 16 years old. By purchasing a membership, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2.2 Membership Benefits:
Membership grants you access to classic sports car racing events organized by ECR, including races held across the UK and internationally. Membership benefits may include exclusive discounts, priority entry, and access to members-only content.
2.3 Membership Fees:
The membership fees are outlined on our website and are subject to change. By purchasing a membership, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these Terms.
- Event Entry
3.1 Event Registration:
Entry to specific races is subject to availability, and members must register for events through the ECR website. Registration details, including deadlines and requirements, will be communicated to members.
3.2 Event Fees:
Event entry fees are separate from membership fees and will be communicated during the registration process. These fees cover participation costs, such as track fees, logistics, and event amenities. Event fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these Terms.
3.3 Event Modifications and Cancellations:
ECR reserves the right to modify or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, force majeure events, or insufficient registrations. In the event of cancellation, ECR will communicate with members to provide alternatives or refunds, as applicable.
- Code of Conduct
4.1 Sportsmanship:
Members are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner during events. Any form of unsportsmanlike behavior, including but not limited to aggressive driving, will not be tolerated, and ECR reserves the right to take appropriate action.
4.2 Compliance with Laws:
Members must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during ECR events, both in the UK and internationally.
- Liability and Insurance
5.1 Assumption of Risk:
Participation in classic sports car racing events involves inherent risks. Members acknowledge and assume these risks, and ECR is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during events.
5.2 Insurance:
Members are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their insurance coverage for participation in ECR events.
- Membership Fee and Cancellation for Race Entry
6.1 Membership Fee:
Membership fees are non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances. Once paid, membership fees cannot be refunded for any reason.
6.2 Race Entries / Cancellation:
Equipe Classic Racing reserves the right to not accept or cancel the registration or entry of any driver at any time.
6.2.1 Close of Entries:
Entries will be closed 2 weeks before the event.
6.2.2 Cancellation Policy:
– Full Refund: Up to 2 weeks before the event, a full refund less £75.00 admin fee will be given.
– 50% Refund: From 2 weeks to 48 hours before the event, a 50% refund will be given.
– No Refund: 48 hours or less before the event, no refund will be given.
By purchasing a membership with Equipe Classic Racing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
